For six days, more than 100 artists from nine countries took the stage to present nearly 60 live electronic music performances, broadcast at least three times to please audiences around the world, on our online platform virtual.mutek.org. This tailor-made platform also hosted some 20 digital works in the Distant Arcades exhibition, conferences from our virtual marketplace of ideas, MUTEK Forum, and audio archives from the last decade of the festival.

With the support of the Canada Council for the Arts at the start of the pandemic, the Stream On project aimed to support artists by offering them a showcase on the internet through the distribution of an exclusive work. Initially accessible via the MUTEK Festival platform, you can now listen to the creations of Quebecois and Canadian artists on MUTEK's SoundCloud.
