Oscillating between vibrant heights and melancholic valleys in a hybrid electronic dimension, Ouri merges her strength and truth with lush chaos, weaving ambient and bass-driven production into her own impassioned, rhythmic abstract style.

Ouri's multi-instrumental talents and classical training steer her electronic approach to melody and bass in entrancingly emotive, bold and playful ways, pairing traditional song structure with abstract spatial dynamics. Using synthesizers (Moog Sub Phatty and Dave Smith's Prophet 08), steel-guitar, cello and multiple effect pedals both in recordings and live, she builds atmospheres of transcendental tension between aggressive rhythmic progression and a soothing harmonic fluidity. A creative collaborator, Ouri melds emotive vocals by Odile Myrtil and Munya into ornate ambient songwriting on her album Superficial, has worked with future-house producer cRi and recently collaborated with Mind Bath on a recent self-titled EP that rebalances masculine and feminine stereotypes alongside tenderness with aggression. Ouri's latest album showcases her voice's wide range, set among deep bass and slow breakbeats, where harmonious melodies and samples span harmony and dissonance.

Ouri was tapped for Red Bull Music Academy’s 2017 Montréal Bass Camp, leading to her latest recordings; a Boiler Room performance and has enjoyed an increasing number of big stage activities in the last months. Ouri lets her newest soulful creations loose in a live set at MUTEK.
