Inspired by the INTER_CONNECT project presented in 2017 in Montréal, the MUTEK International Network has developed a new initiative, in a hybrid format of physical and virtual events, called MUTEK Connect.
MUTEK Connect is a unique opportunity to develop, experiment with, and evaluate a new model of digital interconnectivity based on the creative connections existing between the MUTEK headquarters in Montréal, Mexico City, Barcelona, ​​Buenos Aires, San Francisco and Tokyo.
MUTEK Connect is also a way of strengthening our relations with cultural and artistic institutions around the world, such as the FESTIVAL TRANSART in Italy and the Chapelle XIV cultural space in France, as well as the B39 artistic centre and its associated festival, PRECTXE, in South Korea.

Bucheon Art Bunker B39 used to be a place to incinerate garbage which has been transformed into an art space where the artist’s diverse creativity, functions, and experiences coexist and fuse as a new creative environment. The ‘Prectxe(Practice) Festival’ shows the current status of digital media art, immersive content, and electronic music which seeks practical, sensual, and material-level experience and approach.
