From enhancing the reading experience to increasing reader engagement, the potential of augmented reality applications for the book publishing sector has been demonstrated by a number of projects. As the technology becomes more and more accessible for both content creators and consumers, new opportunities are opening up, inviting creative experimentation as much as the development of innovative business models.

Moderated by Parabola FilmsSarah Spring, this conversation brings together publisher Ryan Thompson of Anteism Books, a Montréal-based pioneer in art books using AR, AI, and other technologies; and critically acclaimed Canadian author Chelene Knight, a seasoned editor, agent, and teacher of poetry at the University of Toronto.

This activity takes place in English - although questions in French are also welcome.
It will remain available in the archives of the Forum’s online application until September 20.

Presented with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec
